Sliding into the new term 😂🛝💦

The heavy rain this morning meant the children quickly worked out that waterproof suits + a wet slide = going VERY fast 😂

Obviously we had to take it one step further and add some soap 🫧 and that was pretty much our morning sorted!

One last special moment from our Graduation Day. 💚
Our children wanted to say a little thank you in the best way they know how... by singing! They worked so hard learning this song, and we hope it brings a smile to your face.
To all of our graduates, thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Watching you grow has been an absolute privilege, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you.
Good luck on your next adventure – we’ll miss you all so much. Once a Little Angels child, always part of our family. 🌿

What an exciting morning we had! ✈️🎈

Today we took a trip to Upminster Aerodrome to see the Goodyear Blimp, and the children couldn’t believe how big it was! There were lots of “wows” and excited faces as we got to see it up close.

We were also lucky enough to watch a helicopter and a few planes take off, which made the visit even more special. The children loved talking about what they could see and asking lots of brilliant questions.

It was a lovely morning full of excitement, curiosity and new experiences. These are the moments that make learning so much fun! 💙

🌞🏆 We are delighted to announce that we have achieved our Sun Safe Accreditation! 🏆🌞
Keeping our children safe, healthy and happy is always our priority, and we are incredibly proud to be recognised for our commitment to sun safety.
At our nursery, we actively promote sun-safe practices by:
☀️ Monitoring UV levels daily during warmer months.
☀️ Encouraging children to wear appropriate sun hats and protective clothing.
☀️ Ensuring sunscreen is applied when UV levels reach 3 or above and reapplied throughout the day when needed.
☀️ Providing shaded areas for outdoor play and encouraging children to play in the shade during peak UV times.
☀️ Keeping babies and younger children in shaded areas wherever possible.
☀️ Ensuring fresh drinking water is always available and encouraging children to stay hydrated.
☀️ Educating children about the importance of staying safe in the sun through daily routines and activities.
☀️ Working closely with families to promote sun-safe habits both at nursery and at home.
☀️ Ensuring all staff act as positive role models by following sun-safe practices themselves.
One of our favourite parts of our sun safety programme is our wonderful UV Ambassadors! 🌞💛
Each day, our UV Ambassadors check the UV rating and update our UV chart. They help remind their friends and staff about the importance of sun safety by checking that everyone has their sun cream applied, is wearing their sun hat and is drinking plenty of water throughout the day. They take their important role very seriously and do an amazing job helping us all stay safe in the sun!
A huge well done to our children, staff and families for supporting us in achieving this accreditation. Together, we are helping to build healthy habits that will last a lifetime. 🌞💛

💙 Celebrating the Amazing Dads and Father Figures 💙
This Father’s Day, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all the dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures who support, encourage and inspire our children every day.
Whether it’s school runs, bedtime stories, weekend adventures or comforting cuddles, the positive role you play in a child’s life makes a world of difference.
We also hold in our thoughts those who may find Father’s Day difficult. Those missing their fathers, sons, children or other loved ones, and those remembering someone special today.

🎒 When I grow up, I want to be…. 🌟
Another week of prepping our leavers for the future and we’ve been chatting about what we’d like to be when we grow up!
The children had some fantastic ideas, including:
