Combat2Coffee

Combat2Coffee Our mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the armed forces community and their families.

Founded by former prison officer and army veteran Nigel Seaman, Combat2Coffee is a community interest start-up founded in 2018 which aims to:

- Create safe community and charity-led spaces within its coffee shops where veterans, families and those struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues can go to feel supported and connected.

- Educate communities and families on de-escalation strate

gies and techniques when engaging with individuals with disabilities and trauma-related mental health conditions.

- Reform ex-offender reintegration and improve positive outcomes via its Coffee Roasting and Barista Prisoner Rehabilitation Training Programme.

- Improve sustainability and quality of coffee across the U.K. via its direct trade branded Brazilian coffee and economies of scale achieved by wholesale trade. Through the use of branded coffee, a strategic high street presence, pop-up caravan coffee shops, B2B engagement and its Coffee Roasting and Barista Prisoner Rehabilitation Training Programme - Combat2Coffee aims to deliver and support charitable causes, veterans and those suffering from mental health issues locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

What an amazing couple of days we've had at the Suffolk Show! β˜€οΈβ˜•
Serving great coffee and chatting with fantastic people are two of the things we love most, and we've had the pleasure of doing plenty of both over the last few days.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us, grabbed a coffee, had a chat, and continues to support Combat2Coffee. Your support means the world to us and helps us continue the work that we do.πŸ’™

Major Brew certainly kept himself busy during the show! β˜•οΈ He took on the mascot race and even attempted the rock wall challenge... although it's fair to say he didn't make it very far! πŸ˜‚
We were also incredibly lucky with the weather, enjoying glorious sunshine throughout the event, which made the whole experience even more special.

Finally, a special thank you to our incredible Combat2Coffee team. None of what we do would be possible without the dedication, passion, and hard work of every single member of Team C2C. You work tirelessly behind the scenes and make every event a success, and we're so grateful for everything you do.

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! πŸ’™

UPDATE!!!

We now have CCTV footage of the individuals involved in the recent robbery.

We're asking our community once again for your help. If you recognise anyone in the footage, or think you may have any information that could assist, please get in touch with us privately. Every piece of information, no matter how small it may seem, could make a difference.

We have additional footage available and will release more if necessary.

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has reached out, shared our previous post, and shown their support. The messages, comments, and offers of help have meant a lot to us during a difficult time.

It's incredibly disappointing that, after all the hard work, long hours, and dedication we put into building our message, some people would choose to target it in this way. It's a very low thing to do.

That said, we won't let this define us. We'll bounce back stronger, and we're grateful to have such an amazing community behind us.

Thank you all for your continued supportπŸ’™

It was an absolute honour to be a part of the premiere of Butcher: Invisible Wounds on Friday 15th May at King Street Cinema in Ipswich. 🎬

The documentary tells the powerful story of football legend Terry Butcherβ€” from his football career to the heartbreaking loss of his son Chris, who sadly passed away aged 35 after being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. It also highlights Terry’s own journey towards recovery through Combat2Coffee.

One quote from Terry that truly stayed with us was:
β€œI just kicked a ball around a park, they’re the real heroes.”

We would like to thank our patron Terry and his family β€” Rita, Edward and Alistair β€” for opening up and sharing such a deeply personal story with courage, honesty and compassion. To do this takes incredible bravery, and this film exists because of their trust and willingness to help others by sharing their experiences - reminding people that it’s okay to ask for help.πŸ’™

A huge thank you also to King Street Cinema for hosting such a special event, and to Stuart Burley, John Grint, Victoria Barrell, Simon Lazenby, Robert Sarre, Paul Hamilton, Halo and everyone involved behind the scenes for bringing this important documentary to life. The King Street Cinema Sylver Entertainment Halo Service Solutions

This documentary is a powerful reminder to reach out if you are struggling β€” you are never alone.

Butcher: Invisible Wounds will be launching in local cinemas later this month and on ITV alongside the World Cup next month.⚽

Last Friday, two of our incredible volunteers, Gavin and Matt, had the honour of attending the Buckingham Palace Garden Party to represent Combat2Coffee after receiving The King’s Award for Voluntary Service. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
Buckingham Palace described the event as hosting guests who have been recognised for their service and contribution to communities, making it an incredibly proud occasion for everyone involved.
It was a proud moment to see them recognised at such a prestigious event, representing not only Combat2Coffee, but the dedication, compassion, and community spirit that drives everything we doπŸ’™
This invitation was a reflection of the hard work and commitment shown by all of our volunteers who continue to support veterans, ex-uniformed personnel, and their families every single day.
We are incredibly proud to see Combat2Coffee represented at Buckingham Palace and grateful to everyone who continues to support our mission. β˜•πŸ’›

Last night, Combat2Coffee attended the Life's A Pitch End of Season Bash βš½πŸŽ‰ where the fundraising efforts were dedicated to supporting us β˜•πŸ’™
We’d like to say a special thank you to our patron, Terry Butcher who always shows incredible support and kindly nominated us for this fundraiser.
A massive thank you as well to Mark Glenn Murphy Mbe for hosting and organising such a fantastic event ✨ It was an amazing night from start to finish!
To everyone who bought raffle tickets , played Heads or Tails , took part in the auction , donated raffle prizes , and supported throughout the night - THANK YOU ❀️ Because of your incredible generosity, we raised an amazing £4,560.
This funding will go directly back into our outreach work, helping us continue to support and provide vital services to our veteran community.
An amazing group of people coming together for a great cause. We truly appreciate every single one of you. Thank you all πŸ‘πŸ’™"CUPPA TOWEN" β˜•οΈ
