💫 The most beautiful beginning to 2025✨️

Thanking my lucky stars I was trusted by Kate and Cem with the truly brilliant, humble and a true magician behind the lens, Vicki, at Willow & Wilde.

—Love is now the Stardust of yesterday 💫
These two gave me those sort of feels you get when watching a Xmas film all cozy & snug, when everything just aligns and feels right. .⚡️

Whilst Cem & Kate let their previews soak in, I couldn’t help but share just one (for now). Choosing a few frames to share with them was hard, so they got rather a lot. The energy & love from this wedding was insane. Truly special. I did not want to leave, from the sincere & sentimental ceremony by (who came all the way from Ullapool)!!! To ending the night gathered around fire pits watching fireworks & drinking THE best coffee from the girls at … this time certainly hit different. I shall be sharing more, but for now, enjoy this one frame, it sums up their day, their love & the magic that Cem & Kate brought to Auchen. Thank you for having me 🖤 🇺🇸 🇹🇷 x

Yesterday's ceremony was incredibly special. 🍂

A wedding ceremony as well as a ceremony to celebrate Autumn and the special landscapes around Loch Maree.

I new by family and friends faces and widening eyes that something special was occurring behind us.

Allan captures the essence and feeling of this ceremony so beautifully for R&C.

Happy first anniversary 🌱

This was a beautiful moment where East met West, and a Highland love story was shared.

Both of their family teams came together with so much energy to celebrate in style this time a year ago 🍾

A ceremony filled with creative writers; three poems all hand crafted by family and friends, and the most talented local musicians gave us all a treat for the ears.

The promise ✨️

Whilst a couple spend time choosing the promises and / or vows they wish to offer the other within a ceremony; Humanist Society Scotland Celebrants have already made a promise to them!

I was never meant to meet Ally and Anna on 01.09.2023. I wasn't the celebrant.

But the morning of the ceremony a colleague called me with no voice, ofcourse I stepped in to honour her crafted ceremony and enable Ally and Anna to legally marry.

We promise to do all we can to ensure you can still have your ceremony and the legals can go ahead no matter the circumstances.

I'm not anything special, I just acted in the way that every other colleague will always do, to help and be a team as we honour our promise to you, our couples.

So a very happy anniversary to this local pair and their friend's and family who took it intheire stride!

A bonus for me was to reconnect with , who was the creative eyes behind the cemera lense 🍾📸🌞.

Nestled under an old oak, naked toes on stones as the lapping waves of the loch kissed the shore.

Connection to the earth and atmosphere; time became an irrelevant concept.

Sharing, listening, holding; all within a place they connect so deeply, too.

Winds were whirling about as witness. All the while the gentle captured the moment beautifully for Naomi and Daniel.

Hello 👋

I cant thank enough for capturing the smile and joy I felt whilst conducting Melissa and Mark's ceremony earlier this year.

I am someone who wears many hats for these fast changing times.

Through the winter, I plant trees, and through Spring to Autumn, I hope to hold a ceremony across the Highlands and Islands with you.

🗓📮2024, I still have a few final days open for any spontaneous elopers.

✨️📮2025, however, is well and truly open for your lovely enquiries.

What happens when your Humanist Society Scotland Celebrant is ill on the day?

You still get married is what happens.

We have something we call the guarantee.

Part of your two year membership fee means that if in the event your celebrant can't get to you, we do absolutely everything to find a covering celebrant for you.

We are a strong community and team and will move mountains to support each other.

I welcomed the arrival of September unexpectedly surrounded by blooming heather sprigs on the guests seats and conducting a ceremony under beaming Ullapool sunshine with laughter and joy.

Our days really are full of colour as celebrants. 💜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
