It's that time again! Help us choose what to read next for our online book club. Visit Cornwall Libraries Online Book Club to cast your vote. You'll find the poll in our pinned post.

We make all 3 the titles available on Borrowbox as eBook and eAudio from the 1st of the month, so if your favourite isn't chosen you'll still have access to read it. We'll discuss the winning book at our next discussion, Tues 30th June.

In the final week of Share a Story Month, we’re thinking about sharing stories across language barriers. Have you ever read a book in a language other than English? Or a book translated from its original? We’d love to hear your recommendations!

Did you know?
One resource we’re really proud to offer access to is LOTE 4 Kids. This is a fantastic platform of over 8500 story books in languages other than English – with over 100 languages to choose from!

These interactive digital picture books read the story aloud as you read the written words. You can even select bilingual mode to have it read the page aloud in one language and then again in English – great for learning and sharing. You can download the app or open in a web browser to read at home on a phone, tablet or laptop – link in comments. Many thanks to the Cornwall Council resettlement team for supporting this project.
