Every year, the State of the Sector survey gives us a vital snapshot of the voluntary and community sector in Wiltshire. It’s our chance - your chance - to show the true picture of the work we do in communities, the pressures we face, and the impact we deliver in our region.

And this year, we’ve made it even easier. A shorter, sharper survey. Ten minutes. One powerful collective voice.

By taking part, you help us build a clear, evidence-based understanding of the strengths, challenges and needs of our sector. The more responses we receive, the stronger and more accurate that picture becomes - and the harder it is for decision makers to ignore.

Who we are Wessex Community Action supports voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises in Wiltshire. We provide advice, training and practical support, alongside championing the sector by connecting, representing and advocating for the groups that make such a difference in our communities. A...

Carers Week is just around the corner, and we'd love to see as many unpaid Carers as possible join us during the week!

From 9th–14th June, we'll be hosting a range of events across Wiltshire, giving unpaid Carers the chance to meet others, share their experiences, get creative, or simply enjoy some time in good company.

There will be opportunities to speak directly with Wiltshire Council leaders at our Your Voice, Your Experience sessions, take part in relaxed creative workshops with Bosky Creative, and finish the week with tea, treats and live music in Chippenham.

Caring for someone can leave little time for yourself, so we hope these events offer a chance to socialise with others who 'get it', feel that your voice is being heard and also to have fun!
