May has been another busy and productive month across Bedlinog and Trelewis — full of meetings, community events, and time spent out and about speaking with residents. As always, thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat or got in touch.

✔ Peer Panel Assessment (PPA)
✔ Draft Forward Work Programme

✔ Taff Bargoed Development Trust Ltd
🤝 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
✔ Attended Trelewis Hub (Tuesdays) and Bedlinog Hub (Wednesdays)
✔ Met with residents in Trelewis regarding parking concerns
✔ Early morning litter pick at Parc Taf Bargoed – a beautiful day for it 🌿
✔ Joined the Community Council litter picks at Nant Llwynog Park and Taff Bargoed Park
✔ Attended the Mayor’s Inauguration
🏉 LOCAL EVENTS & SUPPORT
✔ Delighted to attend the Bedlinog Rfc Under‑7s rugby presentation evening and present a £500 cheque from Taff Bargoed Development Trust
✔ Wished Haydn Miller well on his recent fundraising walk from Top Bedlinog to Caerphilly in support of Mind — a fantastic effort for an important cause 👏
✔ Great to see over 100 runners taking part in a recent Phoenix Running South Wales event — well done to all involved!

🔹 Dog bin reported full at Garth Terrace
🔹 Overflowing bin at the tennis courts reported
🔹 Potholes reported (Beechcroft, Trelewis 1–10, and road leading to Rock UK)
🔹 Fishing platform at the lakes reported as unsafe
🔹 Damaged fence at the bottom of the rugby field reported
