The Armed Forces Day event will provide an opportunity to thank those who have fought for our country, as well as those currently serving.

✨Happy Volunteer Week ✨

We want to highlight and say a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who help deliver our events and welcome all of our wonderful visitors!

Your time, energy, and support makes all the difference.
In 2025/26 we had over 90 volunteer opportunities across out events programme, with an estimate of 450 hours of volunteer time!

Want to get involved?
We would love to have you join our volunteer team, this gives you the chance to meet new people, gain experience in events, and be part of something great in Rotherham.

There are lots of opportunities coming up this Summer and at Rotherham Show on 5th-6th September.

It’s nearly that time… UPLIFT Festival is back! 🛹

We’re excited to announce that UPLIFT Festival returns this year on Saturday 18th July.

Expect a full day of games, sports, music, energy, workshops, and plenty of activities and good vibes all in Rotherham town centre, all for free!

We’re also kicking things off the evening before - On Friday 17th July, we’re hosting a free ticketed Roller Disco, starting with a sessions for all ages before the evening shifts into 14+ zone.

And in addition to the Town Centre events, UPLIFT will be popping up across Rotherham Borough with more free sports activities and games, so watch this space!

This year is set to be special. Stay tuned for more updates and event details over the next month🔥

WOW. WHAT A DAY 💥

Thank you to everyone who made WOW Rotherham Festival 2026 so special.

Each artist, performer, volunteer, community group and audience member — thank you for filling Rotherham town centre with joy and creativity.We’re proud to celebrate women, girls and non-binary communities in Rotherham!

There’s more to come from throughout the year, including Len Pennie at Grimm & Co, a night of comedy at Rotherham Civic and Reclaim the Night in November. Keep up to date!
