Curious Cubs Educational Stay and Play

Hi everyone. Haven't had any joy with moving our group on a Thursday.

However if anyone is free on a Tuesday I will be helping at The Hubs toddler Tuesdays.
I will have on offer a themed craft activity, a song and dance rhyme time, a little mini story time.
I thought we could have a what's in the bag time with a colour shape and instrument of the week.
As well as all the lovely toys they have on offer.

This session is on weekly in The Hub In Newport at 10am on Tuesdays. My first session is 24/2.

This week is Christmas party week. Usual time, fancy dress encouraged.

Party food will be served at 10.30 am. Our special visitor should be arriving about the same time. Tea and coffee available all session, no breakfast tray this week.

This Thursday is our final session (unless a suitable smaller venue can be found or anyone is interested in taking over the group in the current venue)

If you would like to come to the Christmas party but don't have a £5 pre booked ticket please contact me ASAP.

This week at Curious Cubs we will be continuing our preparation for Christmas.
* We have a mini tree to decorate
* We have presents to wrap.
* Mince pies to make.
* Christmas cards to make and write to our friends and family.
Oh and not to forget glitter lots of glitter.

When - Thursday 11th Dec 9.30 - 11.30am

Where - Newport Parish rooms

Who - age 4 months - any age including home ed children.
Fees( cash please ) - £ 3 per family

£1.50 per nursery child.
Includes breakfast,snack and drinks for all of you.

A quiet but lovely relaxed session today.
I enjoyed our little story and songtime. I've been humming 5 current buns ever since.

Join us next week for our last session. (we do have party week the week after but it's pre booked ticket only)

Next week we will be..
* At elf training school learning to wrap presents.
* Making mince pies Mrs Clause would be proud of.
* Designing and decorating our Christmas wreaths.
* Christmas card making, who will you write yours too?

Hi everyone. I just wanted to give a little update as to where we are at for continuing the group next year.
As you all know the parish rooms is proving to much for me, with late night set ups proving too much.

I've been exploring some other options and I'm awaiting hearing back.

* One is a possibility of the group moving to castle house. With staff on hand to help.

* I have today put in a request to explore the possibility to shrink the groups resources down and move the group to the hub.

If I hear back from any I will update. In the meantime I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Hello everyone 👋

This Thursday we are on our Christmas countdown.

Three sessions left until our Christmas closure.

This Thursday we explore the challenges to our environments. With ice and snow.

Lots of fun in our frozen ice slide for our toys. Also our pom pom ice rescue.

Our small world area is full of snow. Will the Christmas train make it through?

Our yummy creative task is biscuit houses.

Our new song for this week is 5 current buns.

We will have a Christmas postbox, if you have chance to write to santa this session he will write back next week

Hi Everyone I'm sorry to let you down but due to family commitments I won't be available to hold this week's toddler group. So no toddler group on the 27th November. Sorry again. X

It's Thursday tomorrow which only means one thing. Come in to the warm and explore Penguins with all your friends at Curious Cubs.

If you haven't been before your welcome to come and give us a try.

Where - The parish rooms Newport.

Who - Babies from 4 months - pre school. We also welcome home ed primary age children to come and join in with us.

When- 9.30 - 11.30am Thursdays.

Cost- £3 per family
£2 per childminded child
£1.50 per nursery child

What's included - Breakfast, Snack, tea/coffee /milk or water.
Educational fun activities.

Car parking near us can be tricky. Park out of town and walk in if you can. If you need a space come early and it's easier. Someone is usual in the building from 9.10 am x
