St. Michaels. Our church by the sea has served generations of people in the Teignmouth and the surrounding area for generations--in times of sadness and celibration. It embodies who we are as a people, and is such an amazing focal point for our community.

It's tower is a landmark seen from all over Teignmouth and beyond including from the sea. Although, the sea has in it's turn taken it's toll on the church's building materials.

St Michaels has shown years loving care of the people of Teignmouth, and I feel it's now it's time for the people of Teignmouth to show loving care for St. Michaels in this, its time of need.

However, it's not just an opportunity to repair and maintain the structure, but to improve it's utility and serve the community in an even more inclusive ways.

The amounts needed to repair and conserve the church are substantial but not insurmountable, but our immediate task is to raise money which would help release large grants from national and institutional charitable bodies.

This is a call for action, and I am asking the people who love Teignmouth and want to show that love by working with us to preserve our church to contact me [email protected], or by direct messaging me.

I’ve just passed Teignmouth Library. It’s on fire.

I’ve also contacted the CEO of Libraries Unlimited to let him know, and offer what support I can to help restore the Library.

Today I received an email thanking me for setting up a fundraiser link for Mermaids - the activist org which promotes gender ID affirmation forGender Dysphoric children.” Of course I hadn’t.

Mermaids encourages children to believe they they are in the wrong-sexed body, and for some to begin a medical journey to transition to realise that belief. It is for many real gay conversion therapy.

However, great harm is done to these young people. Puberty blockers, Cross-sex hormones, and for many ultimately destroy lives.

To the person who signed me up for Mermaids fund raising—THANK YOU! Far from being annoyed it has inspired me to fundraise for another charity who are focused on truly helping gender dysphoric children, and those who are now detransitioning and need our compassion and practical help.

Please give generously to TrangenderTrend. Please help young people who have been cruelly and mistakenly pushed towards a future of pain and regret the help they desperately need.

I have always been concerned that progressives are only animated where there is a perceived inequality relating to minorities.

I’d like to remind everyone that the most disadvantaged group in the UK is actually British white working class boys.

Not only are they not prioritised in any way, they are the most often demonised, and typically accused of being followers of Andrew Tate.

Even Starmer made a big thing about making white working the object of concern for misogyny, promoting the fictional drama “Adolescent”, which was based on the murder of a girl-yes, but not by a young white working class boy.

The hypocrisy of the graduate elites is staggering.

I grew up in poverty in Plymouth, and class prejudice from middle class professionals was rife then.

I do not believe in discrimination of any kind, yet know I am going to have to speak up for this neglected group. Watch this space.

Meta do not send support on Messenger. Nor do they threaten a cut-off deadline. This is to spook you into acting quickly.

✅ What you should do now

1. Do NOT open the file

It may contain malware or a fake login page.

2. Do NOT reply to the sender

Any interaction confirms your account is active.

3. Block and report the account

Use Messenger’s “Report” → “Pretending to be Meta” or “Scam”.

4. Check your Facebook security settings directly

Go to: Settings → Security and Login → Check recent logins

5. Turn on two‑factor authentication (if not already enabled)

This prevents most account‑takeover attempts.

Several residents have told me how inaccessible the Police and Crime Commissioner has become since the public email address was withdrawn and replaced with an online enquiry form. I’ve just used the new form myself. Although I normally dislike online forms, this one isn’t too onerous and it does have one advantage: your message goes straight to the person best placed to deal with it. The 200‑word limit also forces you to focus on what you really want to say.

I encourage you to use it. Tell the PCC what concerns you about policing locally, what you want them to do — and what you don’t. Police leadership needs to hear directly from the people they serve.
