রক্তে লেখা ভোরের গান

২৬শে মার্চ—
লাল-সবুজ ভোরের আলোয় জেগে ওঠা এক জাতির গান,
যে গানের প্রতিটি সুরে আছে
রক্তের দাগ, অশ্রুর ঢেউ, আর অদম্য প্রাণ।
স্বাধীনতা—
শুধু ইতিহাসের পাতায় লেখা কোনো শব্দ নয়,
এটি হাজারো অচেনা মুখের ত্যাগ,
অগণিত মায়ের নিঃশব্দ আর্তনাদ,
আর এক জাতির বুকভরা সাহসের জয়।
আমরা যারা দূর দেশে থেকেও
বাংলাদেশকে হৃদয়ে বয়ে বেড়াই,
এই দিন আমাদের ফিরিয়ে আনে শিকড়ে—
মাটির গন্ধে, ভাষার টানে,
পতাকার লাল-সবুজের গভীর মায়ায়।
আজ শ্রদ্ধা সেই সব শহীদদের প্রতি,
যাদের রক্তে রঙিন হয়েছে আমাদের পথচলা।
শুভেচ্ছা সেই সব মানুষকে,
যারা আজও স্বপ্ন দেখে—
একটি ন্যায়ভিত্তিক, মানবিক, আলোকিত বাংলাদেশ গড়ার।
স্বাধীনতার চেতনা হোক
সমতার আলো,
মানবতার প্রতিশ্রুতি,
আর আগামী দিনের পথপ্রদর্শক।
শুভ স্বাধীনতা দিবস।

a dawn brushed in red and green,
a morning where a nation rose
from ashes, from silence,
into the full breath of freedom.
Independence—
not a word carved in history alone,
but a river of sacrifice,
the quiet tears of mothers,
and the unbroken courage
of countless unnamed souls.
For those of us living far from home,
Bangladesh lives within—
in the scent of our soil,
in the rhythm of our language,
in the colors of a flag
that still beats like a heartbeat.
Today we honour the martyrs
whose dreams shaped our identity,
and we salute every heart
that still carries the hope
of a just, humane and enlightened Bangladesh.
May the spirit of independence
guide us toward unity, dignity and compassion—
a light that never fades.
