♻️ It’s Recycle Week!

There are a few recycling updates you might have missed - and making a couple of small changes can help us recycle even more across South Derbyshire. 💚

🥤 Juice and Tetra Pak cartons can now go straight into your green recycling bin.

🥚 Cardboard egg boxes belong in your black caddy within the green bin.

🍎 And don’t forget your food waste caddy!

Banana peels, tea bags, leftover crusts, vegetable peelings and other food scraps can all be recycled instead of going into your general waste bin.

So, remember:

✅ Juice cartons → green recycling bin
✅ Cardboard egg boxes → black caddy (within green bin)
✅ Food scraps → food waste caddy

Small changes soon add up. 🌍

This Recycle Week, why not challenge yourself to recycle one more thing than you did last week? ♻️

🚐 A range of advertising opportunities may be available across different vehicles within the Council’s fleet.

Campaigns can be tailored to suit different requirements and budgets, with a minimum advertising period of three months.

📃We have drafted a new Draft Housing Allocation Scheme, which is now out for public consultation for 12 weeks..
