We attended over 2,000 incidents this Bank Holiday weekend 🥵

This weekend we've been busy busting BBQ fires and dousing grass fires with Control taking 3,600 calls.
This included:

10 fire engines called a converted house alight in Thornton Heath

50 calls to a fire at a mixed-use building requiring eight fire engines in Lower Clapton
8 fire engines to a fire near a railway line in Hackney
8 fire engines to a house fire in Tolworth

With the hot weather set to continue, we urge you to take caution this half-term week.
