Infant Mental Health Awareness Week

Knowing where to find support can make a big difference for families during pregnancy and the early years.

The Sutton Health Visiting Service has developed a Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Padlet to help families easily access information, services, and resources that support emotional wellbeing from pregnancy through infancy.

The Padlet provides an overview of local perinatal and infant mental health support available in Sutton, as well as links to trusted external organisations that can help with challenges that may affect mental wellbeing, such as bereavement, loss, relationship difficulties, and other life events.

Whether you're looking for information for yourself, your family, or someone you support, the Padlet brings together a range of services in one place to help ensure families can access the right support at the right time.

Filled with useful local support links, wider resources & information around perinatal and infant mental health.

Infant Mental Health Awareness Week

A baby's mental health starts with feeling safe, loved, and connected. The everyday moments you share – cuddles, talking, playing, and responding to your baby's needs – help build the foundations for lifelong emotional wellbeing.

The Government's Best Start for Life programme recognises the importance of the first years of life and provides trusted advice and support for families, from pregnancy through to starting school. Parents can access information on bonding, child development, feeding, learning through play, and much more.
