Age Friendly Cotswolds 💚

We’re proud to support Age Friendly Cotswolds, a community initiative funded by the Summerfield Charitable Trust.

Age Friendly Cotswolds aims to work with local communities to create places where people can thrive as they age. Feeling connected, valued and able to shape the places they call home. 🌿

Gemma and Kerry recently met with Karen, Age Friendly Champion from Cotswold Friends, and Stow Town Mayor Alison, who is an Age Friendly Ambassador. It was wonderful to come together, share valuable information and ideas and celebrate the importance of creating welcoming, inclusive communities where everyone can feel connected and valued.

We’re delighted to have proudly placed our Age Friendly Cotswolds window sticker at Edwardstow Court to show our support. 💚

Welcome to Stow, Ali Stearn, writer and her miniature Shetland pony, Jack Brock. Jack was from Stow Fair many years ago and regularly visits care homes to bring joy to residents with dementia and raises money for dementia charities. Ali has written a children's book all about his life and his valuable work.
