1st Stonesfield Scout Group Our Scout Group (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) is based in the village of Stonesfield in West Oxfordshir

Our Scout Group is based in the village of Stonesfield, in West Oxfordshire. We provide fun, adventure, challenge and development for over 70 local young people, aged six to 14. The Group is supported by a 12 Leaders, Assistant Leaders and Section Assistants, as well as seven Exec Members, Trustees and Fundraisers. This month's Community Café at Stonesfield Village Hall is hosted by our Scout section - 9-12 in the Club Room.
Why not join us for a winter-blues busting piece of cake and a hot drink? Or come and take away a cake to share with your nearest and dearest at home?
Our scouts have been busy baking and are looking forward to making you a nice cuppa!
If you like baking and you'd also like to make a cake for us to sell, we'd love to receive any cake donations on the Saturday morning.

And if Santa's imminent visit is not enough festive cheer for you, then look out for the 1st Stonesfield Scout Group's Christmas Card boxes at the White Horse, the village shop and the village hall.
These boxes are for seniors (you decide if you fit the "senior" category!) who wish to post cards within the village of Stonesfield. Last post by 6pm on Thursday 11th December, to give the scouts time to sort and deliver before the end of term. Please pass this on to any seniors you know in the village who may not be on Facebook. Names and addresses should be clearly written, thank you so that our young elves can find you!

Keep an eye out for Santa and his sleigh around Stonesfield this Thursday evening!
From 6:30pm this Thursday 4th December, he will be visiting our village, (working out the best route, finding great landing spots, unblocking chimneys, etc. in preparation for Christmas Eve 😉).
This event is jointly organised with the Witney Round Table, who generously share the funds raised with us.
Our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will be out singing along and spreading festive cheer, listen out for us, and give Santa a wave!
