It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Brignall (nee Mozley) on 12 March 2026 at Rotherham hospital aged 94 years. A much loved wife to the late Ken, Mum to Geoff and Janet, Mum-in-law to Patsy and Chris and Nannan to Mathieu, Emilie, Jessica and Joe.

Funeral service followed by burial to be held at Holy Trinity Church, Ulley at 11:30 am on 30th March 2026. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to British Heart Foundation if desired.

All are welcome to join the family for refreshments and to celebrate Joan's life at the Royal Oak, Ulley afterwards.

Alan Jones, aged 79, passed away on 7th February 2026.

Alan was the father of eight children — six daughters and two sons — a grandfather to 18 grandchildren and a great grandfather to 9 great grandchildren.

Alan will be remembered and sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 4:15pm on 11th March at Rotherham Crematorium, followed by a wake at Brinsworth Club.

Funeral attire will be smart dress with a splash of colour.

The family kindly ask for no flowers. There will be a charity collection on the day for those who wish to make a donation.
