Theres one growing out the old platform, all bent up, seemingly out of the concrete.

Lessons learned from trees.
1. Never give up.
2. It’s important to have strong roots.
3. Don’t be afraid to go out on a limb.
4. Stand tall and be proud.
5. Be content with your natural beauty.
6. Bend before you break.
7. Enjoy the view.
(Thuja occidentalis) also known as northern white-cedar, is growing out of a cliff in the Little Falls area, NY. Instagram.com/bigtreehunters for more 🌲🌳🌲🌳

Can members, reading this,
Please tell me how the trail could be improved for all.
Bramble free patches with apricot, peach and plum etc trees instead ?

Wide grassy areas between the bramble ?
A mini strip wildflower meadow ?
The green area opposite the synagogue, a mixed orchard ?
All were my my original dream.

Lets make it happen whilst im still here to try.

The dudes who covered part of the cyclamen patch with tonnes of clay and garden clearance, , I should really have had a serious moan at. ... but it wasnt too much.
However, in the end, its all part of what created the weird mixed biodiversity of the trail.
They planted a row of canna. Some scots pines, that sadly died, but one.
Im sure, if asked, theyd do more.

That mask lying there waiting to tangle wildlife or take years to weaken kinda makes me feel sad

A quick wander to see the cyclamen. Some corms are 40 plus years old and bigger than a dinner plate.
I tried to help them spread, which seems to have worked well.!

A few years back. The spot by car park.
The dry hedge I created from fallen or cut branches has disintegrated. And been broken by vandals
I will be trying to repair it soon with similar , but this time add climbing, fast growing dog rose. !
This should keep the integrity of the 'hedge' and cause problems to those trying to poo along the car park.

Evolution of invasive sp. . The Belmont trail is changing. Not all a bad thing.
Its fascinating how a few years neglect can change the biodiversity several times.
There was 'concern' over a patch of Virginia creeper ( leaves become red in Autumn)
It appears to have been smothered in a feral grape vine.
Who would have thought that. ?

Some pics of Belmont trail . Note the tiny holes, in the bindweed. Showing, something is eating a considered 'pest'

Who else, but me, has a genuine love of the flora and fauna of this strip nature reserve ???
Even the group I created to love this has sold out to. ... clickbait, multi wing, groups like " Harrow online."
Yes , you apologise. You could do better.
I ask you, plead with you to do a well scripted story of the belmont trail.
I with a little expert help can explain how important it is.
The others, wanting power, still dont know what biodiversity lives there.
As a non politician, its sad to see how one or two people, who resign can destroy a good thing.

I am the original creator of this group. It was originally to organise people to clear, clean and make it a mile long nature reserve.
It worked very well for a year.
I actually believed 'my' recommendations would be listened to.
Instead month after month same problems,
To me, the group became a pathetic weak joke.
The constant 'spanners in the works'
I took several so called certificated courses to , use a bladed strimmer , or chainsaw or so many common sense BS
I learnt mainly to cover my ass by writing potential damage reports, banning dudes in sandals from using power tools, and simikar obvious BS.
I very highly passed all these bs tests.

And even after complying to all this, I still feel hated by those that .............. me!
