Inspire Multi Sport Clubs and Football/Cricket Holiday Activities

Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent would like to give you a quick update about our Aiming High funded activities, that run at venues near you. We offer fortnightly multisport clubs across the county, the activities are for the whole family and include things such as badminton, football, swimming, kurling, trampolining to name but a few. During the school holidays, Staffordshire FA and Staffordshire Cricket work together to offer a fantastic 4 hour activity session that takes place in various locations.

We understand how unpredictable life can be and so our activities are very flexible in catering for and welcoming families who make a last minute decisions to attend. We do encourage you to use the central booking system, however if you were not able to book please still turn up to the activity and we will ask you to complete a registration form so we can understand your child’s needs.

We do not want you to be deterred from booking one of our sessions based on the uncertainty that you may have to cancel, we have a large number of spaces available and you are unlikely to be taking up another child’s space. We do however, ask that you try and let us know that you can no longer attend.

If you have not yet accessed any of our Inspire activities we recommend that you give us a call on 01785 619 398 and speak to Raj our Disability Sport Officer who can answer any specific questions on how the sessions operate etc. Alternatively you can view a short video from our current attendees and their thoughts about our clubs at

Many Thanks

Speech and Language Service
As a parent of a child with additional needs, are you interested in being part of a Focus Group with a Health Commissioner and a SEND Commissioner to take forward your views about Speech and Language Therapy?
As part of the commissioning of a new Speech and Language Therapy Service in Staffordshire we are holding a parent focus group in Stafford on Monday 25th April between 12.30 and 2.30pm. We are aware that many parents will be interested in this area of work and want to ensure that everyone’s views are considered.

If you would be interested in joining in with this group please let us know; we need an idea of numbers attending so that we can arrange an appropriate venue.

Advisory Group
The work of SEND Family Partnership – Information Advice and Support in Staffordshire – is monitored and steered by an Advisory Group of parents of children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
We are recruiting new members of this Group which meets three times a year in Stafford between 10.30am and 1.30pm. We would be delighted to welcome you if you are interested in coming along to find out more about the work of this group. Contact us for more details.

Don’t forget to sign up for the “So What?” events taking place around the county.
These are to find out if your family has been heard when new services have been commissioned in Staffordshire, if not, why not? And look at ways in which you can be involved in the future.
Book your place through us for:
Burton Tuesday 26th April 10 – 12 noon
Wombourne Friday 6th May 10 – 12 noon
Stone Saturday 7th May 10.30 – 12.30
Tamworth Wednesday 11th May 7 – 9 pm
Cheadle Tuesday 17th May 10 – 12 noon
Cannock Thursday 26th May 10 – 12 noon

We hope to see you at these events!
