🚧 Village Path Works – Wednesday 26 August

Please be aware that Stadhampton Parish Council has arranged for works to be carried out on the village path tomorrow.

The path will be temporarily unavailable while the works are taking place, so please avoid the area and do not attempt to pass through while the contractors are working.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s cooperation while the works are completed. Thank you! 😊

Stadhampton Parish Council would like to remind residents to be vigilant of scam or spam emails that may appear to come from parish councillors.

Please remember:
✅ Official Parish Council emails will always come from an email address ending in -pc.gov.uk.
❌ Never respond to unexpected emails if you’re unsure of the sender.

If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from the Parish Council, please check the sender’s email address carefully before responding. If in doubt, contact us directly using the contact details published on the Parish Council website.

📢 Reminder – Parish Council Meeting Tonight

Just a reminder that the Stadhampton Parish Council meeting is taking place tonight at 7:30pm in Stadhampton Village Hall.

Residents are very welcome to attend, and there will be an opportunity to raise any questions or concerns during the public participation session.

The government has announced that Oxfordshire and West Berkshire will move to three new unitary councils in 2028:

🔵 Greater Oxford Council – covering Oxford and its immediate surroundings.

🔵 Northern Oxfordshire Council – covering most of the existing Cherwell and West Oxfordshire districts.

🔵 Ridgeway Council – covering most of the existing South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse districts combined with West Berkshire.

These three new councils will replace the current seven councils.

Over the next two years, councils across Oxfordshire and West Berkshire will work together to set up the new councils while making sure services continue as normal.
