We'd like to say thank you to Derek Williams 📸

Derek came up prior to one of our Drill evenings to get a station photo for us, and whilst there he took some of us during training, he got some great shots! ☺️

Thankyou Derek, hopefully see you again soon!

*ATTENTION*

In recent weeks we have received several calls direct to the fire station to report of potential incidents and emergencies.

Please remember, always call 999 in an emergency.
It’s the quickest, safest, and most reliable way to get help from services like Cornwall Fire & Rescue.

When you call 999, your call goes straight to the emergency control center. They can:

Dispatch the nearest available crews.
Send multiple appliances if needed.
Coordinate with police and ambulance at the same time.

If you ring a station directly, there may be no one there to answer and in an emergency every second counts.

We had some very special visitors at the station recently! — the amazing Roche Rainbows and Brownies 🩷 🚒

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome such brilliant groups of children in and show them a little glimpse of what we do.

From exploring the fire engine to learning about our equipment, the curiosity and enthusiasm from everyone was incredible!

We hope you all enjoyed your visit as much as we did — you asked some fantastic questions and were a real credit to your leaders 👏
Who knows… we may have some future firefighters in the making! 🔥

You’re welcome back anytime 🚒✨

Huge congratulations to FF Christian and her ATR group on passing their BA initial last week 👏🔥

All the hard work, commitment, and determination have paid off — a massive milestone achieved! From training ground to real-world readiness, it’s no small feat, and you should all be incredibly proud.

Now officially able to wear BA as a number 2 in a BA team — stepping into that role with confidence and skill 💪

Brilliant effort from the whole group, and especially proud of FF Christian — smashing it! 🚒🔥
