The public will not forgive those MPs like Douglas Ross who stood by Boris Johnson through years of scandals and lies.

Thank you to so much to everyone who got out to vote for our candidates yesterday!

Both Scottish Lib Dem candidates Jane Ann Liston and Al Clark were elected in the first round of counting!
Our party's track record of working hard was rewarded with an increased student and local vote to elect an extra Lib Dem councillor here!

And on top of that, every Lib Dem candidate in North East Fife was elected to serve their communities as part of Fife Council!

Today I joined university staff from across Scotland at their protest outside the Scottish Parliament. For too long the sector has been run on short-term contracts, poor pay and casual work.

These issues have been dragging on for far too long, which is unfair on staff and students.

This is an issue of government policy as well as university policy. The message to university principals, to UK and Scottish government ministers, to the Universities and Colleges Employers Association, is to sort out the pension, sort out the pay and sort out the short-term contracts.

Thanks to everyone who managed to make it to our pub social with Willie on Thursday despite the recent jump in Covid cases!
We had some really good talking points on the Young Liberals' activities across the UK and the upcoming Council Elections.

We'll soon begin helping our two local candidates for the St Andrews ward on the campaign trail!

We lept from third to demolish one of the safest Tory strongholds in the country! This is the second Tory 'safe seat' we've taken this year!

If you want to join the fight next semester, with the only party which can effect change today, then LibDemSoc is for you!

Liberal Democrats WIN North Shropshire. This is a stunning victory in what was one of the safest Conservative seats in the country.

This sends a clear message to Boris Johnson: The party is over.

Willie Rennie has led the party through a gruelling ten years, through the most challenging circumstances faced by any leader in the history of the Scottish Liberal Democrats, with a combination of integrity and passion rarely seen in politics.

And in doing so, despite only having a few MSPs next to him on the benches of Holyrood, he's pushed legislation over the line which has helped so many across Scotland.
