A big thank you to Southampton City Council for installing this new litter bin.

After raising concerns about litter in this area and requesting a bin, I’m pleased to see that action has been taken.

It may seem like a small thing, but small improvements can make a big difference to keeping our community clean, tidy and welcoming for everyone who uses this pathway.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. Let’s all do our part to keep the area looking its best. 🌿🚮

Small changes really can make a big difference. 😊

Last week we visited Majesty House Cafe and were so impressed by the excellent service and incredibly friendly staff. I was amazed by the freshly prepared food and the warm welcome we received.

For those of you who may not already know, you can also hire the hall next door for just £20 per hour. It is a great venue for parties, meetings and special events, and catering can also be provided.

The café is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.00pm.

I was also blown away by the Senior Games Morning held from 10.00am to 12 noon. There are lots of games to enjoy, from Rummy to Scrabble, making it a lovely place to socialise and meet people.

If you are looking for somewhere friendly to go during the week, or somewhere to relax after the school run, why not pop along? You will not be disappointed.

Coxford, we are not giving up and we are not going anywhere. 🌹

Every conversation on the doorstep, every message of support, every person who believes our community deserves better has shown us one thing… our fight for Coxford is far from over.

We will continue to stand up for local people, support our residents, listen to your concerns and fight for the future our ward deserves. Change does not happen overnight, but with determination, unity and hope, we will be stronger than ever.

I will continue to support Councillor Greenhalgh in fighting for our community and the people who live here. Our commitment to residents does not stop after an election.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Labour in Coxford. This is not the end of the journey, it is just the beginning.

Coxford deserves people who care, people who listen and people who never stop believing in our community.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported Labour and supported me throughout this campaign. 🌹
Although I came third, I only missed second place by 20 votes, which shows just how much support there was in our community. Reform, took the majority and came first.
This has been a huge learning experience for me and I feel truly honoured to have stood as your local candidate for Coxford Ward. I have met so many wonderful residents along the way, listened to your concerns, and received so many kind messages of encouragement and support.
I would also like to thank all of the Labour team, Colleagues and especially Councillor Greenhalgh, who truly took me under her wing throughout this journey. She is not only an amazing councillor, but also an amazing individual, and I am so grateful for all of her support, guidance, and encouragement.
No matter the outcome, my love for our community remains the same. Thank you again to every single person who voted for me, helped behind the scenes, shared posts, spoke to me on the doorstep, and believed in me. It has meant more than you know. 🌹

Carol Vorderman says she “loathes” Reform and is encouraging everyone - especially women - to vote in the local elections!

She said: “I absolutely loathe Reform. I loathe them to the very cell of my being. All they want is division. And they lie. The scale of the hypocrisy is insurmountable. They say, ‘We are the party of the working people’, but I couldn’t think of any party, even the Conservatives, that are worse than them.” And of Farage, she added: “He’s just so thin-skinned. But people are beginning to see him for who he is.”
