Please be aware there are signs for the road closure on Thursday on roads around Wainfleet, these include Spilsby Road, High St, St John’s St and Skegness Road. If you park in the afternoon between the times stated your car will be towed away. Please check and park safely.

Wainfleet are getting excited for the Tour of Britain on the 3rd September. Bunting and flags have gone up our wonderful knitters have been busy creating fabulous jumpers for the clock tower, post box and fence . Cllr Carl has been decorating bikes and they will be filled with flowers before the day. Anyone living on the route through Wainfleet please get involved it would be fab to see more flags going up.

Tomorrow at 10 o’clock we are putting the bunting up around the market place / high street for the forthcoming bike race on the 3rd Sept. Please get involved if you live on Spilsby rd, high st, market place, St John’s street, Skegness rd and you want to decorate your house come to the market place in the morning we have lots of bunting.

A great morning supporting Cllr Carl Drury’s Coffee morning with Colin from Coast watch giving a really interesting talk. Raising money for the excellent service Coast watch give to help look after the east coast keeping our residents safe and our visitors.
