Old Bexley & Sidcup Conservatives

08/10/2026

The Conservatives are back to being the party of aspiration, hard work, personal responsibility, opportunity and supporting home ownership.

These announcements, alongside scrapping business rates and taking a much tougher approach to immigration and crime, will resonate well with many people across Bexley.

We even had a shout out in the Chairman’s opening speech today! 🇬🇧

When Bexley’s Conservative Council saved Sidcup’s library and cinema until a new operator was found, Reform Bexley’s Leader described it as “brilliant news”.

But now Reform want to pull the funding that would risk our much loved community asset closing.

Footfall in Sidcup is up and library members are up. The community is benefitting from this investment.

But alongside Laila Cunnigham, Reform today described the decision to save the Sidcup Storyteller as “disgusting and terrible, socialism”.

On Thursday, we need to stop these people.
