The Sidcup Partners BID The BID is funded by a small ‘levy’ on businesses within the area, based on the rateable value of their property.

The Sidcup Partners BID (Business Improvement District) is a business-led and business funded body formed to support the community and economic growth in Sidcup. In November 2016, the businesses in Sidcup voted in favour of creating a Business Improvement District (BID) and paying an annual contribution to help fund additional projects, services and events that would improve the local environment for the benefit of the community, businesses, employees and visitors alike. This raises in the region of £167,000 each year during the five-year term, so approximately £835,000 in total. This money will be used to promote Sidcup, to enhance the experience for visitors, to enable businesses to work together and to provide services to reduce business overheads. BID services are additional to those provided by the Council, Police and other providers. The Sidcup BID includes approximately 400 levy payers including well-known brands and organisations in the retail, leisure, hospitality and public sectors. We are an independent, non-profit company limited by guarantee. All the projects and services we deliver are additional to – not in place of – those already provided by the London Borough of Bexley. Our key aim is to raise the profile of Sidcup as a safe, clean, attractive and well-regarded destination for businesses, residents and visitors alike.

Well done ..
Super proud of you both 💜

A massive thank you to The Alma Pub Sidcup for their generous donation to my Mayoral Charity Appeal.

It was lovely to meet with Mat and Ronnie today to present them with a Bexley Together plaque, which is given as a special token of appreciation to our most generous donors.

The Alma's donation - as with all donations this year - will go to three amazing charities (Crossroads SEL, Diabetes UK Bexley Support Group and Trulybeloved: a children’s charity) who are helping Bexley residents.

Thank you so much for your support!

After the excitement of achieving Silver Gilt, the brilliant Colin, Linda and Janet have been back out planting some winter shrubs! 💜

A huge thank you to them for all their hard work and for continuing to make our town look lovely.

And another big thank you to Penhill Nursery for once again supplying the plants and giving back to the community with a very kind discount. Your support is really appreciated. 💐

Great people, great local businesses and fantastic community spirit! 💜
