We have had a lovely day out exploring! ✈️🌿

We enjoyed a visit to Sleap Airfield, watching the planes and taking in the sights, before heading over to Percy Thrower’s Garden Centre for a wander around and browse. We also enjoyed a lovely trip to the café for some drinks and treats ☕️🍰

A fantastic day spent out and about, enjoying good company and making memories together! 😊

We’ve had a lovely, productive few days 🌿

The garden is all sorted and looking so much better — complete with some beautiful new hanging baskets adding a pop of colour 🌸

We also enjoyed a trip to Attingham Park, making the most of the fresh air and lovely surroundings. A perfect mix of getting things done and spending quality time outdoors 💛

A lovely day out exploring our local library and a trip around town today 📚✨

We enjoyed discovering new books, taking in the sights, and making the most of being out in the community together. From stories and smiles at the library to little adventures around town, it was a day full of learning, laughter and connection 💛

We’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather while exploring our new space and getting creative painting coral-inspired stones — bringing a little piece of the ocean to life! 🪸🎨🫧

We’ve teamed up with Shropshire Council to bring AutonoMe Assistive Tech to our clients. First mission? A delicious homemade Chilli Con Carne! Seeing that boost in independence and confidence is what it’s all about. 🥘✨

🌟 I had a lovely visit to My Aspirations Willow Lodge adult day centre recently.

They offer a brilliant range of activities for adults with disabilities, building friendships and developing skills in a really supportive environment. I was excited to hear about their plans to open a community cafe too, with food made and served by their clients.

What particularly impressed me was the team's approach. Their aim is not to create dependency but to build people up to be independent enough to move on, and when they reach that point they actively support them to do so.

Their groups meet Monday to Saturday, 9am to 3pm. To find out more about placements email [email protected]. Their facilities are also available to hire for meetings and events, just call 01743 626116 to book.

The kitchen has been the heart of Willow Lodge today as we all got stuck into making a proper cottage pie. There’s nothing like the smell of a hearty lunch to bring everyone together! 🍽️👨‍🍳
