📢 “You Said, We Did “
New in the Parent Carer Zone on the Central Bedfordshire SEND Local Offer
Following feedback from parent carers through SNAP, we've added information about Family Relationship and Wellbeing Programmes to the Parent Carer Zone on the SEND Local Offer.
These programmes are available to all families in Central Bedfordshire and focus on building positive relationships, developing family strengths, and supporting emotional wellbeing.
We know parent carers value having relevant information and support in one place, so we're continuing to develop the Local Offer in response to your feedback.

📚✨ Back to School Support for Children with Down's Syndrome ✨📚

The start of a new school year can be an exciting time, but it can also bring challenges and worries for children, families, carers, and educators. The Down's Syndrome Association has created a range of helpful resources to support a smooth and successful transition back to school. These include checklists, transition books, guidance for parents and carers, and practical advice for educators.

Whether your child is starting school, moving to a new class, or changing schools, these resources can help everyone feel more prepared and confident. The DSA also offers training opportunities and a free helpline for additional support.
