My priorities if elected:

• Inclusivity: I would reach out to all members of Ed Bram to ensure that all events are accessible, affordable and adaptable to individual needs. Also, I would hold additional socials based around non-drinking activities.

• Originality: I aim to introduce themed socials that could be chosen through social media polls. Also I would like to hold shorter day trips for those who cannot attend the trips abroad, such as to a theme park or to attend a cultural event.

• Maintaining a receptive atmosphere: I will always be available for queries and suggestions about Ed Bram socials. I will highly encourage ideas for socials from wider Ed Bram membership as I know there are many students with fun suggestions for socials. Furthermore, I believe this will ensure that there are events that cater to everyone’s interests.

• Getting the best deals: discounts for bars and clubs are a major benefit of joining Ed Bram thus I will work hard to get deals with as many of Sheffield students favourite bars and clubs as possible.

I would love to be your next Social Secretary for Ed Bram!

Why should you vote for me?

I will ensure that every Ed Bram member has as much of an enjoyable experience at Ed Bram events and socials as I have this past year. Ed Bram socials and events are an incredibly important part of making the most out of your law school experience. Therefore, I will work incredibly hard to ensure that socials are accessible and enjoyable for all.

For me attending Ed Bram socials, bar crawls and netball training has really enhanced my first year of uni as it encouraged me to socialise with other law students I wouldn't have otherwise met. This was integral in helping me build an amazing group of friends to support me through the struggles of being a law student! As social secretary I would ensure that Ed Bram socials continue to do this for existing and incoming students.

I have the skills and dedication necessary to be your next social secretary. As someone who has always been involved in activities outside of being a student, I have the necessary organisational and communication skills.

Above all I promise to remain approachable and receptive to all members of Ed Bram because the more input received from members the better our socials can be!
