Whilst many of us have been busy at Cheshire Show, our wonderful hospital manager not only holds the fort during the busiest time of year she’s been able to release some swallows she’s hand reared from nestlings! What a legend! Report from Janet below

While we’re at the Cheshire Show raising much needed funds and chatting to visitors, the hospital certainly hasn’t slowed down behind the scenes. Wildlife admissions keep coming and Janet and the team back at the reserve are still working flat out to make sure every animal receives the care they need 🦉

This beautiful baby hare was admitted to us and although we see lots of amazing wildlife, hares are definitely less common patients for us, making this one feel extra special 🥰

Thank you to everyone who has donated towards Ronnie’s vet bills it really is appreciated. We’ve even had donations from Luxembourg, USA and more. So thank you to our wonderful home supporters and a big shout out to our international supporters we really do appreciate you all!

The Vet is coming again tomorrow and we will keep everyone updated.

Just a reminder we are closed for pigeon and corvid admissions. We are now well beyond capacity and they are still being brought to us.

Please please keep an eye out for our posts. If anything changes we will post on here.

We’ve now gone even further beyond
our original over capacity issue and just can’t take anymore. Please don’t just turn up with more we are really so sorry to close to any species but we just can’t keep taking more.
