The Personnel Committee considers matters relating to the Parish Council’s staffing, policies and responsibilities as an employer.

Yes, you can.

Did you know that Laverstock & Ford Parish Council sets aside time for residents to speak before its meetings?

There is a 15-minute public participation period, during which you can raise an issue of concern or interest, ask a question or make a statement. Each individual speaker can speak for up to three minutes.

A couple of useful things to know:
📜If your issue is already on the agenda, it can be discussed when councillors reach that item.
📆If it isn't on the agenda, the Council can't make an immediate decision on it, but it may be considered for a future agenda.
🤝You don't have to stay for the meeting afterwards, but you're very welcome to stay and listen.
✍️If you'd rather submit a written statement, this needs to reach the Clerk at least three clear working days before the meeting.

🚧 URGENT ROAD CLOSURE | RIVERSIDE ROAD, LAVERSTOCK

Please be aware of an upcoming temporary road closure affecting Riverside Road, Laverstock.

📅 From: Wednesday 28 October 2026
🔧 Reason: Urgent carriageway and associated works being carried out by M Group on behalf of Wiltshire Council.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys.

Looking for something to do this half-term?

Wiltshire Council's Inclusive Wiltshire programme is offering a range of activities, including sports, dance, crafts and more!

Please share with local families who might be interested! 💜

Looking for something to do this October half-term? Children and young people with SEND can enjoy Inclusive Wiltshire activities in Chippenham, Salisbury, Tidworth and Trowbridge from Monday 26 October to Thursday 29 October.

Enjoy multi-sports, dance, crafts, chill and chat sessions, and much more.

🕙 10am-12.30pm for ages 6-11
🕐 1pm-3.30pm for ages 12-19

⚽ FUN, FRIENDSHIPS AND PLENTY OF LAUGHS!

It's great to see some of the fantastic activities delivered by District Sports, across our Parish.

From regular youth club sessions to free summer holiday activities, including bubble football, they've been helping local young people get active, try something new and have fun together!

A big thank you to the District Sports South team for everything they do to support young people in our parish.

Our Parish Councillors are local volunteers who give their time to represent residents, listen to local concerns and help shape decisions affecting our communities.

For Estelle, being a councillor is also about continually learning and working as part of a team to help make the parish a place where individuals, families and groups can flourish and thrive.
