Claremont, Weaste and Seedley

Claremont, Weaste and Seedley The Claremont, Weaste and Seedley Neighbourhoods is made up of the wards of Claremont, Weaste and Seedley. They also decide on how some budgets are spent.

A page dedicated to the Neighbourhood of Claremont, Weaste and Seedley, run by the Claremont, Weaste and Seedley Neighbourhood Management Team, part of Salford City Council. The Neighbourhood Management Team work with the local community to make sure that they can influence decisions about their neighbourhood. To do this we work with people from the council, Police, Fire Service, health

teams, housing agencies, and other organisations working in the area to ensure that services provided match local priorities. The Claremont, Weaste and Seedley Neighbourhood has it's own Community Committee which provides a forum for local residents to get involved in decisions. Community Committees identify community priorities which inform the work of the Neighbourhood Team.

This session is to work on a draft of the Salford Creative Health Action Plan – based on feedback from the 7 community groups who have worked with us over the last few months. We’re going to do this creatively – with artist Fiona Robinson leading a short zine-making workshop giving everyone the chance to pick out & prioritise key messages from the community feedback. The zines that everyone makes on 18 June will inform the final action plan.
