Its a lasting tribute for our brave Billinge service personnel, that payed the ultimate sacrifice during conflict.

Unexpected admission from the ICB, yesterday evening at the public meeting to discuss Billinge Medical Practice.
The ICB stated that during phase two, they would ensure the relocation was sustainable.
When asked to clarify the statement their CEO had delivered, they confirmed that the move to Garswood was Permanent!
Their public statement is in contradiction to discussions and communicated discussion, written and verbal.
The clear message before yesterday's meeting was the move was temporary.
I asked the following questions, raised your concerns during the public meeting.

🚗🚌 I spoke about the Community Hall, clearly informed the ICB that adjustment are needed to public transport links to ensure the temporary move works for everyone. Inadequate car parking and the lack of scope to fix.

🏢 I asked what's the plan. If the good people of Billinge and Orrell need to endure this move, whats the outcome. I suggested the people of Billinge and Orrell deserve new builds! These suggestions would ensure sustainability! The project criteria requires, to be clearly communicated, costed, with a defined schedule and milestones, to completion.

🇬🇧 I welcomed the actions of David Baines and Andy Burnham, supporting the patients of Billinge Medical Practice. I called on parliament to act, discuss, to stop this injustice reoccurring, anywhere across the UK.

I also stressed a permanent move was not in interest of the people and partnerships need finding to ensure, Billinge Medical Practice is eventually relocated to a new facility, that the people of Billinge and Orrell deserve.

The speed measure on Smock Lane, adjacent to Thornhill Road was removed several weeks ago. An enquiry was submitted to council through the Parish Council . We received a prompt response, which stated the anchor points required replacing. Tonight I have resubmitted an online request for the urgent reinstalling of the speed measure on Smock Lane. I have stated the importance of this measure and its ability to slow traffic close to the problematic junction on Thornhill Road.

Fly tipping in Seneley Green is not acceptable! A used baby seat and table! Reported to the council, for removal. Why do people do this? Whats the answer, do we need local recycling centers again? Comment below if you have any suggestions 🙌

What a treat, Fridays Chatty Cafe, Ukulele's! Chatty Cafe at the Seneley Green Community Hall, is a ubiquitous, universally supported, attended event. Residents from Billinge and Seneley Green, who regularly attend Chatty Cafe , look forward to interacting with friends in a safe, welcoming space. Well done to everyone involved with making this regular event a success 👏 🙌🌟

Billinge participants drive and park at the Community Hall. Parking space, is limited. Increasing, retention of Chatty Cafes attendance should be our goal, and avoid jeopardising this brilliant regular event.

I will support and ensure there is minimal impact on parking at the Community Hall, following the temporary relocation of Billinge Medical Practice.

Hi Everyone, please be vigilant, ensure your properties, vehicles are secure during the night. Last night at 2AM, I was awoken by the sound of my neighbours burglar alarm.

🚔Spoke to professional Police officers, who attended in under five minutes 👏

🏠Opportunist thieves are trying doors, targeting cars during the night.

🚨Please feel assured that St Helens Police are proactively policing the area and hopefully they apprehend the perpetrators quickly.

It was my absolute privilege and honour, to be selected by my fellow members, to serve as Chairman for Seneley Green Parish Council. I will continue to protect the legacy of this position and uphold the associated responsibilities. I will serve the Parish of Seneley Green with respect, pride, dedication and passion for the people of the Parish.
Congratulations to Cllr Shawcross who was selected to serve as Vice Chair. Jason is a fantastic councillor and his commitment and passion for the Parish are common displayed attributes we share. We will work collaboratively, to proactively deliver for the people of the Parish, through continued engagement with our community.
Welcome to our new Parish Councillors, Cllr Andrews, Betts and Knibb, your commitment to your community is warmly received. I look forward to working with you all. I am positive your skills, knowledge and experience will enhance the Parish Councils abilities to deliver for our Parish.

Its was a privilege and my honour to attend today's Billinge Residents Association meeting. We celebrated Sue Murphy MBE, three decades of unquestionably dedication to our community. Enjoy your retirement Sue, thank you for your commitment, compassion, dedicating, perseverance and passion, shown over the last 30 years, through your involvement with the community. You will be truly missed.
