No rest in this house. We have had a busy few days.

We got spoiled with afternoon tea from Appetito, who doesn't love a chocolate éclairs ❤️..
Then, of course, the sad news came of Dolly Parton passing, so we pulled her song and watched the classic 9-5. Of course, we had a film night with sweets and popcorn 🍿 and today we paid one more tribute to the fabulous Dolly Parton by making her famous cake recipe in 9-5. We have finished the day with a few games of bingo.

Some of our activities we have done this week.🥰

We have enjoyed photo sharing sparking positive memories improving people's moods and engaging in some lovely conversations together.🥰
We have done some scrapbooking with specific themes and types of memorabilia of the residents favourite choice of pictures to put in the books.📕 We have also enjoyed reminiscing we have been discussing past events and memories to help people connect with their identity and help improve their mood.😊

What a fabulous day we had at our Summer Fair! ❤️
It was wonderful to see so many happy residents, families, friends and visitors, along with all of our fantastic stall holders. The atmosphere was amazing, and it was lovely to see everyone coming together to support such a great cause.
A massive thank you to Lillian for providing the most amazing BBQ — it was absolutely delicious! 🌭🍔
We would also like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who kindly donated prizes and gifts for our fundraiser, including CLJs, Co-op Funeralcare, co-op, Kathleen’s, Suki Hair, Hair by Liz, Leighanne for the amazing 2-night holiday stay, Lesley, Beauty Blossom, and all of the wonderful families who made such generous donations. Your kindness and generosity means so much to us. ❤️
Our residents had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the visit from the alpacas! 🦙 It was certainly a memorable day!
A very special thank you to the Fire Service for attending and making the day even more exciting for our residents and families. 🚒❤️
And finally, a huge thank you to all of our amazing staff for giving up their time, supporting the event and helping make the day such a success. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated. 👏
