Colchester Borough Council - 2nd with 16.1% of vote (increase of 7%):

Con John Jowers 2,126 69.8% (previous incumbent)
Grn Peter Banks 490 16.1%
Lab James Pey 272 8.9%
LDs Susan Waite 156 5.1%

Essex County Council - 2nd with 13.43% of vote (increase of 8.04%):

Con John Jowers 3,592 71.8% (previous incumbent)
Grn Peter Banks 672 13.43%
Lab Usha A-Hollands 483 9.65%
LDs Susan Waite 256 5.12%
