If you have a working parent childcare code, please remember to reconfirm it before your end date. You can do this through your childcare account. To ensure your funding for April 2026, make sure you reconfirm by 31st March 2026.
To sign in, go to www.gov.uk/childcareaccount then select ‘Reconfirmation’ and follow the instructions. It’s easy to do and will only take a few minutes.

Parents — Don’t Lose Your 30 Hours Funded Childcare!
To keep your funded childcare place, you must log into your account every 3 months to re-confirm your code.
The code stays the same — it just needs to be re-activated.
Top Tip:
Add your code expiry date to your calendar and phone reminders so you never miss out on your child’s funding!

Free breakfast club roll out: everything you need to know

What is the new free breakfast club scheme?   We have introduced free breakfast clubs - 30-minute sessions before school where children get a free breakfast so they to start every day ready to learn.  Currently more than 180,000 pupils

Early years funding options for children over the age of 9 months🟡
If you are a working family and meet eligibility criteria, you may be eligible for 30 hours of funded childcare per week over 38 weeks of the year (or less hours for more weeks of the year) from the term after your child turns 9 months old, or the term following approval for childcare funding for working parents, whichever is the latter. This needs to be applied for via HMRC: https://www.gov.uk/sign-in-childcare-account
