Hello, I hope you are all keeping safe and well at this time. As you know, we should have been looking forward to another weekend of fun and entertainment at Fort Pitt School, Chatham in just under two weeks on 5 & 6 September. However, I am sure you are now aware we have had to cancel our Model Railway Show for 2020 and hope we'll be able to meet up again in 2021. In the meantime, attached are the photos from 2019 that I said I would share with you including photos of the award winning layout - Habbaniya, Iraq 1941 . Stay safe! Best wishes, Ella πŸ˜€

Just a quick note to thank all those who came to the Medway Model Show in September. What a great time we had - and I'll share photos soon. In the meantime, don't forget GRES will be holding their model railway exhibition this coming weekend at Northfleet School for Girls and it looks like being a great collection of railway layouts, traders and societies. There will be 4DDs and A load of Balls! Ella

And we have yet more exciting news! Not only have we got Laurie Calvert displaying his excellent science fiction layout Cato Pass but also its little brother Scallywag Corner. Also, Gravesend Railway Enthusiasts Society will be showing the beginnings of their new Layout, Gravesend West, based on the real second station in Gravesend closed in 1968. It is certainly worth seeing and can only get better! We also have Midhurst, a large Southern Region based OO scale layout, Paddington based on the London terminus plus Habbaniya, Iraq - an image in time that is simply amazing! And loads more... So come on down, you'll be in for a treat...πŸ˜€

With just over six months to go, things are coming together well for the Medway Model Show on 7 & 8 September 2019. We have a good number of layouts not seen at this show before, and three of these will be: Habbaniya, Iraq 1941, Medway Quay and Medway Quay. We aim to have a bus service on both days linking the model railway show with local railway stations, and we may even have not one but two little DT Dennis Dart buses. Look out for more news over the coming weeks.
