Exciting News for Wardleworth & surrounding areas!

How time flies! Over 20 years ago, our youth put forward a bid for the current Play Zone in Wardleworth. Thanks to Rochdale AFC & Ryan Bradley who is heading the scheme, we are now moving forward with a new state of the art multi-purpose sports pitch!

Some of our community groups have already been involved in the initial consultation, and we are now reaching out to activity groups in the area to join the Wardleworth Steering Group. This group will help finalize the details of the equipment and management of the pitch, ensuring we maximize its usage for the benefit of our communities.

From fitness classes and coaching sessions to football & basketball, health training, and more, the possibilities are endless. Let’s come together to make this a vibrant hub for everyone!

Some photos from the past when we had the platforms for the youth, in the form of youthbase and youth forum. At this point we also managed to work with authorities and council to gain funds for the kick pitches for the youth and also gained funding for youth events such as residential trips and local facilities.
