June is a special month for us at Kiplin, as we use Charter Day (the anniversary of the signing of the charter to create the colony of Maryland) as our annual celebration to thank our volunteers for their support and long service.
Last year we were delighted to welcome our MP Rishi Sunak to the celebrations. An extra special event in our 400th anniversary year.
Next week we will celebrate Charter Day 2026. Thanking our volunteers in the traditional way, with strawberries and cream! There'll be speeches and badges too, but we all love the strawberries. We look forward to sharing photos from our celebrations with you next week.
