Rotary Club Best Kept Village Competition
We had a fantastic turnout for the presentation and photograph to celebrate Scorton receiving the Award for the Encouragement of Community Life.
Councillors decided to donate the prize money equally between Scorton Buddies, the Feast Committee, the Institute Committee, Save Scorton Lakes and Gig on the Green. Each of these groups play an important role in village life, and the Parish Council is delighted to support them in recognition of all they do to ensure Scorton remains a vibrant and active community.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping to make Scorton such a wonderful place to live.

Best Kept Village Presentation Thursday 30th July at 12.45pm on the village green near The Rotary Club steps (outside the Post Office)
You are invited to the Best Kept Village presentation, where Scorton will receive the Award for the Encouragement of Community Life.
The Rotarians would be delighted to meet residents and take photographs of the occasion.
