What if the best building isn't built around one manufacturer's ecosystem?
It's an interesting question after the last few days.
We've spent time with some of our key technology partners โ Tridium, iSMA CONTROLLI, Milesight and J2 Innovations โ some at their offices, and some at PropTech Connect in London.
Of course, every manufacturer wants to build the best possible ecosystem around its own technology. And they should.
But at Innon, we get to look at things slightly differently.
We don't have to choose a winner.
We see Niagara and FIN.
We see controllers and I/O.
We see LoRaWAN sensors and gateways.
We see software, analytics and visualisation.
And increasingly, we see the interesting bit as what happens when you bring the right pieces together.
Not because every technology belongs in every project.
But because the engineer should have the freedom to choose the best tool for the problem in front of them.
That's one of the ideas behind Ready for Anythingยฎ.
Buildings change. Technologies change. Requirements change.
So perhaps the most future-proof ecosystem isn't a single ecosystem at all.
Perhaps it's an open one.
Thanks to our friends at Tridium, iSMA CONTROLLI, Milesight and J2 Innovations for the conversations this week. It's exciting to see what everyone is building โ and even more exciting to think about what engineers can build by bringing it all together.
Ready for Integrations. Ready for Anything.
Got a project where the pieces don't quite fit neatly into one manufacturer's ecosystem?
