📝 New Community Creative Writing Class at Anglesey Golf Club! 📝

Fancy giving creative writing a go? Fiona Owen is launching a free community writing class right here at the club, starting Wednesday 9th September, and running fortnightly on Wednesday mornings, 11am–1pm.

☕ Free to attend (thanks to the Golf Club!) — just pay for your own drinks, snacks or lunch.
✍️ All levels welcome, including complete beginners.
📖 Poetry, short fiction and memoir, with a fun, playful approach.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Sessions run mainly in English, but you’re very welcome to write and share in Welsh too.

Fiona brings decades of teaching experience — Coleg Menai, WEA, Bangor University, the Open University, and formerly ran the Ucheldre Literary Society in Holyhead. She also runs a writing-for-wellbeing project called Eye of the Storm. You can find out more about her own writing and music at www.rhwng.com.

Monday Kids Club!!!!!
After many years of running this club in the past, we’re delighted to bring it back again starting September 7th.
Open to children aged 5–10 (term‑time only).

All our leaders are DBS‑checked, and the club is run in line with UK safeguarding guidelines to make sure every child is safe and cared for.
