Local government reorganisation continues in Surrey โœ…

Today, central government announced a review of their local government reorganisation (LGR) programme. While they have made the decision to pause or withdraw LGR in other areas, LGR will continue in Surrey as planned.

From 1 April 2027, the 12 existing Surrey councils will be replaced by two new councils, in East and West Surrey.

The government has confirmed that we are on track for LGR and have made great progress towards Vesting Day. New councils have been legally established, and elections have been held.

This change will create a simpler, more connected system that puts residents first. Find out more about the benefits: https://orlo.uk/b5tCw

๐ŸŽSeptember sling support!๐ŸŽ
Here's where you can get sling help and hires this month. I have a fantastic new venue for my monthly drop-in, but other than that, it's back to business as usual!

The session starts at 10.30am, and please arrive before 11.30 if you want sling help. I will be offering 15-20 minute fittings with your own slings/carriers, and will have some hire stock with me - just message if you want me to bring something in particular.
The Village Hall is at 5 Honeycrock Lane, Salfords, RH1 5DG, and there is on street parking, as well as some spaces in the church carpark opposite.
