Princes Risborough Town Council is proud to host a Beacon Lighting Ceremony in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday, 8th May.

Attendees are welcome to gather at the Stratton Memorial Garden from 8:25 PM, with the event set to begin at 8:45 PM. The beacon lighting will take place at 9:30 PM in the Stratton Memorial Garden.

We’ve been so encouraged by the support we received across Buckinghamshire in last week's local elections.

The Liberal Democrats are now the second largest party in Buckinghamshire, with a record 27 councillors elected across the county. For the first time in nearly 140 years, the Conservatives have lost overall control - an historic shift that shows people want something different.

Here in the Princes Risborough ward, we didn’t quite get over the line, but we came incredibly close. That’s thanks to the amazing support from local people who want to see real change in our area.
