les best known surf spots, safe in the knowledge that during the summer months there is a manned life guard station. It is also excellent for beach casting for Sea Bass, ‘rock pooling’ or just relaxing. For the golfer the area is well catered with four excellent courses including The Royal Porthcawl, probably one of the best courses in Wales. The flat is perfectly situated to enjoy the nearby Kenfig Pool Nature Reserve with its lake and sand dunes. It is also not far to the beautiful Gower Peninsular and Brecon Beacons.
