FGCT Veterans Outreach

FGCT Veterans Outreach Plymouth has one of the Largest Armed Forces & Veterans Communities in the Country.

We are here to support Veterans i.e. “anyone who has served for at least one day in Her Majesty's Armed Forces (Regular or Reserve), or Merchant Mariners who have seen duty on legally defined military operations.” There dependence, partners and carers. Also Those currently serving in our Armed Forces, their dependants and partners.

📢 TORPOINT ARMED FORCES HUB LAUNCH

This is a hub launch not to be missed, with 16 fantastic organisations confirmed and lots of guests attending!

We are incredibly grateful to Torpoint Town Council and Team Raleigh CIC, whose partnership and support have made the launch of this new hub possible.

Come along and lend a hand with our Foulston Park Planters sessions this August! We’re coming together this summer to fill our planters and create a bright, beautiful space for everyone in the community to enjoy.

This project is completely FREE and open to all ages and abilities, as part of our DCLL-funded Connect to Foulston programme!

Impact Story: Veteran support for Nick Martin following trauma.

Royal Navy veteran Nick Martin needed support after a traumatic brain injury, a heart attack, and a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A former teaching assistant of 17 years and a dedicated volunteer who is always first to step in for others, this time it was Nick that needed a helping hand 👇
