Thames Water will be working under temporary traffic signals at Chislehurst Road, Orpington from Monday 15/06 for up to three consecutive days whilst they repair a customer side leak.

The works / temporary signals will be in place outside 66-68 Chislehurst Road, which falls between the junctions of Sandy Lane and Mountview Road. The temporary signals have been restricted to 09:30-15:00 daily.

Chislehurst Road closed Tuesday 9th June at Orpington High Street.

Riney will be closing Chislehurst Road, Orpington from Tuesday 09/06 whilst they complete investigation work into a void. The road is expected to be closed for up to three days, but the duration may be extended dependent on the scope of the repair needed / if a cause of the void is found.

The road will be closed on the one way section, between the junctions of Orpington High Street and Elmcroft Road. Local signed diversions will be in place for motorists.

Traffic on the one way system at Orpington High Street will only be able to travel straight ahead in the High Street towards the war memorial during the closure period.
Traffic on the two way section of Orpington High Street will not be able to access Chislehurst Road or Goodmead Road from the High Street during the closure period and will need to follow the signed diversion route during the closure period.

The following bus diversions will be in place:

Route 51, R1, R11 towards Sidcup and ST Pauls Cray.

From High Street junction Homefield Rise, right Homefield Rise, right Gravel Pit Way, Left Spur Road, left Court Road to line of route.

Route 61 towards Chislehurst.

From High Street junction Homefield Rise, right Homefield Rise, right Gravel Pit Way, Left Spur Road, left Court Road, ahead Cray Avenue, left Poverest Road, exit 3 onto Chislehurst Road to line of route.

Route 208 towards Orpington.

From High Street junction Homefield Rise, right Homefield Rise, right Gravel Pit Way, Left Spur Road to stand at bus stop 40196 Spur Road.

Route 208 towards Lewisham.

From Temporary Stand ahead Spur Road, left Court Road, Left High Street to line of route.

Route 353, R4 towards Ramsden Estate.

From High Street junction Homefield Rise, right Homefield Rise, right Gravel Pit Way, Left Spur Road, left Court Road, right Ramsden Road to line of route.

Route B14 towards Bexleyheath.

From High Street junction Homefield Rise, right Homefield Rise, right Gravel Pit Way, Left Spur Road, left Court Road, right Lower Road to line of route.

Thames Water will be working under temporary traffic signals at Tudor Way, Petts Wood from Tuesday 26/05 for up to three days whilst they repair a water leak.

The works / temporary signals will be in place near the junction with Fairway.

Advanced Notice Towncourt Lane resurfacing 3rd June for 3 nights.

Riney will be closing Towncourt Lane, Petts Wood for three consecutive nights from Wednesday 3rd of June for carriageway resurfacing.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Crofton Lane and the junction of Ryecroft Road, Queensway & Tudor Way. Local signed diversions will be in place for motorists and local buses will be diverted during working times.

The road will be closed between the hours of 21:00-05:00 on each day. The works are being carried out at night to minimise the disruption to both schools and local bus routes during peak hours.

There is a proposed pedestrian crossing on Towncourt Lane near the junction of Bushey Avenue which will be completed later this year. Therefore, there will be a small section of the carriageway which is not included; however, this will be addressed during the pedestrian crossing works later in the year.

Buses will divert as follows:

Routes 208 & N199 towards Lewisham
At Crofton Road junction with Crofton Lane viaahead Crofton Road, right Farnborough Common,ahead Hastings Road, ahead Bromley Common tonormal line of route

Routes 208 & N199 towards Orpington
At Bromley Common junction with Crown Lane via ahead Bromley Common, ahead Hastings Road, ahead Farnborough Common, left Crofton Road then ahead to normal line of route

Route R3 towards Princess Royal Hospital
At Shepperton Road junction with Ryecroft Road via left Ryecroft Road, at roundabout ahead Tudor Way,
right St Johns Road, right Crofton Lane, left Crofton Lane then normal line of route

Route R3 towards Orpington
At Crofton Lane junction with Towncourt Lane via right Crofton Lane, left St Johns Road, left Tudor Way, ahead Ryecroft Road, right Shepperton Road then follow normal line of route

Temporary Traffic Lights Queensway for 3 days.

Thames Water are working under temporary traffic signals at Queensway, Petts Wood (Wednesday 20/05) whilst they make urgent repairs to a resident’s water service.

The temporary signals are in place near the Morrisons store and are likely to be in place for up to three days currently.
