RPA is pleased to announce that Linda-Jean Cockcroft, Technical Director of Business, Industry & Growth, will be speaking at the 2017 Chemical Watch Global Business Summit in Amsterdam.

With almost 20 years’ consulting experience, and a focus on sustainability, REACH and chemicals regulation for the last 6 years, Linda-Jean has a unique combination of both inside-industry experience and work as an advisor to industry, including working in a number of EU countries.

Are you a consumer or business located in Europe? If so, we need your opinions on the Consumer Rights Directive!

We are looking for consumers and business located in the following countries to fill in our online survey: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia and United Kingdom.

The results of the survey will feed into an overall evaluation of the Consumer Rights Directive by the European Commission.

The aim of our survey is to gather opinions on issues such as your right to change your mind (right of withdrawal), the provision of clear information about the goods, services and digital content, and pricing and fees. We are particularly interested in your views as to whether the Consumers Rights Directive should include “free” online services such as Facebook, Twitter, cloud storage etc.

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has just published the ruling on the 0.1% threshold for notifying SVHCs in articles applies to each of the articles incorporated as a component of a complex product rather than to the article as a whole. Impacts of these changes will be far reaching and will be felt across a broad range of industries.
