🌟 Summer Highlights from Our Cadets! 🌟

We’re back with another day of our summer highlights, sharing more of what our cadets have been up to over the break!

Today, we’re hearing from Cpl Glackin, who recently spent a week at travelling all across the UK on a Battle of Britain memorial trip. Here's what she had to say about her experience and what she took away from the trip.

“I had the pleasure and privilege of attending the Battle of Britain memorial trip in June 2025.

I made so many new friends from regional squadrons, and I've made memories that will last a lifetime. I still smile to this very day when I think about it.

We had the pleasure of visiting:

-RAF cranwell
-Cranwell college
-Typhoom 29 squadron
-RAF waddington
-Red arrows visitation
-IMW duxford
-RAF hornchurch museum
-Ramsgate harbour
-Crowborough training camp
-RAF hawkinge museum
-Fighter command memorial
-Capel le ferne
-Dover castle
-RAF halton
-Uxbride bunker
-Bentley priory museum
-Air forces memorial, runnymede
-Battle of britain memorial embankment
-Houses of parliament
-bomber command memorial
-RAF club

It was nothing short of the best trip of my entire cadet career, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.”

Stay tuned—more cadet stories are coming your way tomorrow!

🌟Summer Highlights from Our Cadets!🌟

Day 2 of our summer highlights continues with more incredible stories from our cadets!

Next up is Cpl Hawkins, who recently attended a week long camp at RAF Lossiemouth. Here’s what he had to say about his experience:

“From Poseidons to Typhoons, bowling to Fire section visits, RAF Lossiemouth camp 2025 really had it all. We met typhoon and Poseidon pilots, who were able to tell us all about their aircraft and the roles their aircraft play in the RAF. The staff on the camp made it exciting, engaging and fun and I made some life-long friends who I remain in contact with to this day. In my opinion, nothing compares to RAF Lossiemouth Camp 2025 and it continues to be one of my most cherished memories of all time.”

We’ll be back tomorrow with more stories from our cadets’💬✈️

🌟Summer Highlights with Our Cadets!🌟

Over the next week, we’ll be showcasing some of the amazing opportunities our cadets have taken part in this summer! From camps across the UK to exciting training courses, it’s been a busy few months.

First up is Flt Sgt Armstrong, who attended her Gold First Aid Course. Here’s what she had to say about the experience:

“Hi, my name is Flt Sgt Armstrong. I was lucky to attend a gold first aid course. This was a week long course for which I travelled over to Glasgow for via the boat. This course allows me to teach and assess first aid and is the highest available level of first aid within the cadets. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to gain valuable life skills not to mention lots of fun! We were able to talk to Scottish cadets and get to know their experience in cadets. This course gave me qualifications and plenty of new friends across the water. This stands out as one of my favourite camps because of the people I met and the skills I gained.”

Stay tuned to see more of what our cadets have been up to! 💬✈️🗺️
