Thousands of people turned up in Glasgow yesterday to reject the far-right and show them that the working anti-racist people far outnumbered them!

The fascist thugs, who were quite literally throwing N**i salutes and provoking the protestors were physically stopped and thrown out of Buchanan Steps - with the help of the police, of course!

The Revolutionary Communist in Scotland joined thousands of demonstrators in Glasgow to protest the far-right and the racist attacks they carried out in Ireland and Scotland in the last week.

The protest showed the real balance of forces in society; the far-right elements were outnumbered by (at least) 100 to 1! It is the rich and powerful that stoke the fire of racism to distract workers from the crisis of capitalism.

We demonstrated outside the Scottish Parliament today to demand MSPs and the Scottish government to demand action and pressure to release Ehsan Ali and AAC comrades.

Ehsan Ali and the AAC have been a thorn in the side of Pakistani ruling class. Their crime? Fighting for the basic democratic right, food security and ecological rights for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan!

We are still thinking about the Highland Marxist School we put on last weekend. Tucked away in the highlands, the revolutionary communists in Scotland embarked on a serious study of Marxist theory and history - the history of the British General Strike, the struggle against war, the national question and building a revolutionary party.

The weekend revealed the appetite comrades had for Marxist literature from , and included social activities to build camaraderie among comrades and raise funds for the Revolutionary Communist Party!

🚩We are already looking forward to next year's Highland School. In the meantime the weekend imbued everyone with enthusiasm and urgency that we will take back to our branches!

🚩⛰️We are still excited from the Highland School, which we had last weekend with 40 comrades attending who got stuck in learning and studying Marxist theory, history and applying it to understand past revolutions!

With comrades from Edinburgh and Glasgow alongside visitors from the North East and London, we were able to dig deep into practical and theoretical questions such as world events, the British general strike of 1926 the national question, anti-militarism and building a revolutionary party.

🚩Absorbing these lessons, we are ready to apply them to our work across Scotland and urgently build ourselves and the radicalised youth we meet
