Last week we visited Easington Lane Community Access Point (ELCAP), which is using support from the Mayor's Opportunity Fund to provide accessible transport and social opportunities for older residents. 🤝

A brilliant local organisation making a big difference in the Sunderland Coalfield area. 🚍 👏

Combine colder weather with less household income to spend on heating, and that makes the need even greater here in the North East.

Today Kim McGuinness- North East Mayor joined the second Warm Homes Summit to highlight how devolution of retrofit is the best way to deliver lower energy bills for North East residents, and increase opportunities for sustainable green jobs across the supply chain. 📉
